The Indian Navy has invited online applications from unmarried male and female candidates for grant of Permanent Commission under the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme, Course commencing July 2026. Selected candidates will undergo a four-year B.Tech course at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala.

Educational Qualification
- Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent from a recognized board
- Minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)
- Minimum 50% marks in English (in Class X or Class XII)
Who Can Apply
- Candidates who have appeared in JEE (Main) – 2025 for B.E./B.Tech
- SSB shortlisting will be done based on JEE (Main) 2025 All India Common Rank List (CRL) published by NTA
- Only one application per candidate is allowed
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on JEE (Main) 2025 CRL
- Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview
- Medical Examination
- Final Merit List based on SSB marks
SSB interviews will be conducted at Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, or Visakhapatnam.
Medical Standards
- Medical examination will be conducted as per 10+2 (B.Tech) entry standards
- No relaxation in medical standards is permitted
- Medical guidelines are available on the Indian Navy official website
- Change of medical centre is not allowed under any circumstances
Training Details
- Selected candidates will undergo a four-year B.Tech course
- Engineering streams include:
- Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Degree will be awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)
- Entire training cost, including books, uniforms, and messing, will be borne by the Indian Navy
Pay and Allowances
Pay, allowances, group insurance, gratuity, leave entitlements, and duties of officers will be applicable as per Indian Navy rules. Detailed information is available on the official Indian Navy website.

- Candidates must register on the Indian Navy recruitment portal
- Required documents to be uploaded:
- Date of Birth proof
- 10th and 12th marksheets
- JEE (Main) 2025 scorecard (CRL)
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Application once submitted will be final and cannot be edited
Important Instructions
- Only unmarried candidates are eligible
- Any candidate found married during training will be discharged and required to refund training cost
- Use or possession of narcotics is strictly prohibited
- Incorrect or false information at any stage will lead to cancellation of candidature
