Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern (summary)
Four Phases:
- Online Written Test (objective) — see section breakdown below.
- Screening of documents & eligibility.
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) — qualifying in nature (reading/writing/speaking). Candidates who have studied the specified local language in 10th/12th are exempt (on production of proof). Failure in LLPT = disqualification.
- Personal Interview (50 marks); final merit = Online Test + Interview (subject to LLPT & document verification).

- Negative marking: ¼ mark for each wrong answer.
- Sectional minimum qualifying: 40% for General/EWS, 35% for Reserved categories (Bank may revise).
Documents to Upload (at time of application / later verification)
- Passport photo, signature, left-hand thumb impression, handwritten declaration (per specs).
- Proof of Date of Birth, Graduation mark-sheets & degree, experience certificate in prescribed format, caste/EWS/PwBD certificates (if applicable), NOC for employed candidates, etc.
Other Important Conditions
- Indemnity Bond: Selected candidates must execute a bond to serve ≥3 years or pay ₹2,00,000.
- CIBIL: Good credit history expected at joining (CIBIL ≥680 recommended); not a precondition to apply. pnb
